Terms of Service

ActiveGeo is an AI-assisted content creation platform. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of ActiveGeo; “you” refers to the person or organisation using the Service.

The Service is currently offered as a private, invite-only preview. Access is granted at our discretion and may be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials and API keys secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may approve, decline, suspend, or terminate accounts to protect the Service and its users.

You agree not to misuse the Service. This includes not generating unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content; not attempting to bypass rate limits, quotas, or access controls; not scraping or reverse-engineering the Service; and not using it to create spam or to impersonate others. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

The Service uses AI models to help you produce content. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any content before you publish or rely on it. We make no warranty that generated content is accurate, original, non-infringing, or fit for any purpose.

Some features are free within usage limits; paid plans and trials may be offered. Fees, limits, and billing terms are shown at the point of purchase. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change pricing on reasonable notice.

If we issue you an API key, you must keep it confidential and use it only as permitted. We may enforce rate limits and quotas, and may suspend keys that are abused or that threaten the stability or security of the Service.

You retain ownership of the content you input and, to the extent permitted by law, the content you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for having the rights necessary to use any content you submit.

The Service routes requests to third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, and DeepSeek). Their terms may also apply. If you supply your own provider key (BYOK), you are responsible for your usage and costs with that provider, and for complying with their terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
